New Video Highlights Life-Saving Effects of Photo Enforcement Technology

April 3, 2012 - PRLog -- PHOENIX – Redflex Traffic Systems, a global leader in traffic safety technology, has released an informational new video highlighting how photo enforcement technology works to reduce crashes and increase public safety on roadways.  The video  emphasizes the positive impact technology can have in helping law enforcement improve road safety through the use of red light and speed cameras, speed detection sensors, radars, and mobile applications..  It features interviews with members of the Redflex staff, including President and CEO of Redflex Traffic Systems Karen Finley.
In the video, members of the Redflex staff highlight the company’s partnerships with law enforcement across the county.  The video notes cities who install systems “see a reduction in speed related fatalities, injuries, accidents, property damages, and costs to the city…There is also a forced multiplier effect where the officers are freed up to direct their efforts to solving other crimes, reducing drunk driving, drug related arrests, and burglaries.  We’ve seen this effect again and again across the United States.”
