In February of 2012, Healthplex was awarded certification in Ultilization Management by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Healthplex is the only stand-alone dental insurance company in the United States to receive this certification. We are extremely proud of this very prestigious certification. “NCQA accreditation is the Gold Standard for assuring and improving quality care and patient excellence.”


Our Utilization Management Program includes ongoing analysis of services provide to the members, evaluation of member satisfaction, facilitation of communication between members and providers through education to enhance cooperation and appropriate utilization of dental services, and implementation of programs to encourage preventative health behaviors. Since our inception, Healthplex has promoted The Preventive Incentive because good oral health is directly correlated with good overall health. Our Utilization Management Program continues to instill that message as often as possible to our members.
