The Virtual Zone Comedy Web-Series Explores The Murky World Of Online Classifieds
World premiere the mockumentary style comedy web-series, The Virtual Zone on www.theADDchannel.com. Season One consists of 8 (not safe for work) episodes airing every Friday this spring. The content is adapted from 100% real online classified posts.
The web-series is a collection of vignettes that feature hilarious and sometimes offensive online classified ads posted anonymously by REAL people. “It’s a visual interpretation and social commentary on the virtual world of classified ads,” said series creator Ayman Samman. “Our cast attempts to put a face and a life behind these anonymous public posts” said Samman.
Season one episodes include characters such as: an angry, demanding, and desperate woman; a tongue masseuse; a sex-crazed douche bag; and a woman on parole who is excited to talk about her episode of cops. “We have started production on season two and we are planning to pitch the series to several networks,” Said series producer Rozine Prock. “We want the world to see this amazing showcase of talented actors and this smart concept that magnifies our modern society’s virtual interactions.”
Season one features the insanely talented cast: Bati Parnass; Josh Polizzi; Ayman Samman;Monique Carmona; Cavin Gray Schneider; Jessica Amal Rice; and Amro Salama.
