Digital Vision Restored; Isoz Named CEO and Bolah Appointed Managing Director
Image Systems has announced the return of the iconic Digital Vision name to its highly regarded restoration, color grading, and mastering business.
Simultaneously, long time company insiders Hans Isoz and Kelvin Bolah have been named CEO and Managing Director respectively. Isoz has served on the Company's Board since 2010. Prior to his CEO duties, Isoz was CFO for Bonnier Broadcasting & Evening Paper and Bonnier Entertainment. Bolah has spent seven years with Digital Vision, serving as Worldwide VP of Sales since 2005.
Isoz noted, "There is heritage and value in the Digital Vision name. For over two decades, Digital Vision has been the world leader in providing the best technology for the broadcast and post production marketplace. Our customers have been fiercely loyal to our products from the launch of DVNR to the latest releases of Nucoda and Phoenix and look forward to what's coming from us. It is time to restore a brand name that is so respected and well known."
Bolah commented, "At NAB we will be unveiling technologies which are revolutionary to the marketplace and demonstrate our commitment to creating important tools for the industry. With the best products, developers, support engineers, and sales team in the industry, we are equipping the creative community with powerful tools to help them do outstanding work."
Isoz concluded, "In times of global economic disruption and digital transformation, our community looks to established companies for tools that help them succeed. After 24 award-winning years, Digital Vision remains one of the pioneers and leaders of the industry, and we see even greater things on the horizon!"
About Digital Vision
Digital Vision was founded in 1988 in Stockholm, Sweden. With offices in London, Los Angeles and Linköping in Sweden, Digital Vision has developed Emmy award winning technology for the Broadcast and Post Production marketplace.
In 2005, Digital Vision acquired Nucoda Ltd and integrated its technology into the Nucoda product line. This has resulted in the leading colour grading, finishing and mastering solutions that are used to create much of the world's high profile television, film and commercials media broadcast today. The Phoenix restoration software solutions and Golden Eye range of scanners - in addition to the Nucoda range - provide innovative tools to create the industry recognized highest quality HD, 2K/4K and stereoscopic 3D images.
In April 2011 Digital Vision acquired Image Systems and is now a division of the Image Systems group of companies.
