April 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Feasterville, PA- Lower Bucks County is gaining an exciting new option for shoppers wishing to maintain their lifestyle on an increasingly tight budget; while helping others in need. Impact Thrift Stores is opening its long awaited 4th store in the Bucks Crossing Shopping Center at the intersection of Street Road and Bustleton Avenue. This new location will truly be a mega-thrift store, offering shoppers 40,000 square feet of high-quality retail space--making it Impact Thrift’s largest store to date. People are already buzzing that this might be the largest thrift store on the East Coast.

Located in what was once Value City, the newest Impact Thrift Store is guaranteed to be anything but one of those old familiar thrift stores. “We have something for everyone, from vintage pieces to the most current fashion trends…from the unique and unusual to everyday necessities, such as clothing, shoes, jewelry, books, household items, sporting goods, furniture and much much more. It's a treasure hunters paradise!” commented Jo Greenawalt, Impact Thrift’s Director of Business Development.  The new location will also offer ease of access with ample parking, and a drive thru donation area, making the store fully accessible to shoppers and donors.

The new Feasterville shopping oasis will be showcased with a fun-filled, grand opening event on Saturday, April 21st, 2012, from 10am until 3pm. The festivities will kick-off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Impact Thrift's Executive Team, Lower Bucks Chamber of Commerce and Police and Fire Dignitaries, followed by door prizes to the first 100 customers (limited one per family). The grand opening boasts shopping discounts galore, and chances to win raffle prizes, including a grand prize drawing for a $250 Impact Thrift gift certificate. There will be refreshments while they last, as well as fun for the kids. To top it off, from 1pm to 2pm there will be a very unique runway fashion show, with a show stopping grand finale to wow customers with fashion designer looks for less. Rounding out the day will be representatives from Impact Thrift's supported charities who will spend the day sharing the heart and mission of their organizations with customers.

As Impact Thrift expands into Lower Bucks County, the philanthropic, non-profit organization will continue its mission to positively impact local communities through its thrift store operations. Like its other three stores in Hatboro, Montgomeryville, and Norristown, the Feasterville store location will graciously accept donations of clothing and shoes in any condition, housewares, furniture, books and other items, and the net proceeds from the sales will provide substantial financial support to a wide variety of local charities that feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and assist families and children in crisis; such as Southampton’s very own Healthlink Medical Center and Bethanna. Naturally, one of the main benefits that Impact Thrift will add to the local economy is new employment opportunities. The Feasterville store location has created 40 employment opportunities for local residents and is set to continue along this employment trend as the company continues to grow.

“We are thrilled to call Feasterville our new home and we feel that it’s an ideal place to open a new, larger location. Residents of Feasterville will surely find the quality of our merchandise and our reasonable prices very appealing” says Store Manager Ron Smith. “We welcome everyone to stop by and enjoy the grand opening festivities! We can’t wait to officially welcome you into our new home!”
