Luihn Foods presents Children’s Flight of Hope a $4,000 Donation to Fly Ill and Injured Children

April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Children’s Flight of Hope was presented with a check from the Luihn Foods family during the Grand Opening festivities of the new Hurricane Grill & Wings restaurant located at 1389 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary, NC 27511. Luihn Foods selected Children’s Flight of Hope as their “charity of choice” for the opening of their family-friendly restaurant with a relaxed beach atmosphere.  

Guests were able to celebrate the grand opening by participating in a wing eating contest and playing street hockey with the Carolina Hurricanes.  During the celebration, Mark Snyder, COO of Hurricane Grill & Wings, Cindy Luihn Toma and Sandy Luihn Argay, of Luihn Foods, were on hand to present the check to Holly Beaston, Executive Director of CFOH.  

The mission of Children’s Flight of Hope is to provide free, private air transportation for seriously ill or injured children, who, due to medical, financial or logistical reasons cannot travel to their destinations by any other method.  Luihn Foods has selected CFOH as their charity of choice in the past through their 85 KFC & Taco Bell locations and continue to partner to give children access to high quality health care.
