Entitled ‘Future of Meetings’, the survey of 4000 event planners and bookers has suggested that smaller day meetings will enjoy a resurgence this summer, replacing large events spread over a number of days and incorporating hundreds of delegates. Allowing business to be conducted on a much more personal level, the survey respondents indicated that around 75% of their meetings in 2012 would be for 25 delegates or fewer, allowing for a narrower focus and increased flexibility.
