Health & Education Community Welfare Week In Amritsar At AlphaOne From April 02-07, 2012

April 2, 2012 - PRLog -- AlphaOne, Amritsar will host a Health and Education Community Welfare week, starting with International Children’s Book Day on April 02, 2012. The initiative will build-up and gather momentum for the World Health Day on April 07, 2012, which will have free medical check-ups for all at AlphaOne. A paramedical staff along with doctors will be available at AlphaOne for free medical check-ups on April 07, 2012 from 12:00 to 6:00 pm. The free medical check-ups will include free Body Mass Index test, Blood Sugar test, Blood Pressure test and special talks for Preventive Health Care by medical experts. AlphaOne invites all Amritsaris to heartily join the free medical check-ups as well as invites the schools and parents to see the book library specially created in AlphaOne for the International Children’s Book Day on April 02, 2012. The books collected will be donated to the Children of IVE, NGO.

AlphaOne will become a huge outlet for Amritsaris to get free medical check-ups on World Health Day. This 3rd initiative for public health by AlphaOne and Fortis, which began in 2010 would provide free consultation and educate visitors about taking care and managing emergencies. The initiative also aims to raise awareness of the importance of healthy diets and physical activity. This activity would be preceded by organizing free medicines and check-up for over 320 loaders and other ground staff of the Airport in partnership with AAI.
