Cultural Program in Jaipur on Rajasthan Day

Rajasthan Day was celebrated on Friday, March 30, 2012 in Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. Ashok Gehlot, Chief Minister of Rajasthan along with her wife Sunita Gehlot also came in the cultural program organized by tourism department at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur.

The cultural program continued for more than one and half hour in which approximately 400 folk artists and dancers performed. The folk artists enthralled audience by Dhap. Chang, Chari dance, Gair dance, Terah Taali dance, Kathak dance, Kacchi Ghodi dance, Peacock dance, Kalbelia dance, Garasiya dance, Chakri dance, Sehriya dance and many other folk arts.

The celebration was very grand. It was the amalgam of Rajasthani colors, folk art, folk dances, folk songs, overall vibrant culture of Rajasthan and the great hospitality. Hundreds of foreign tourists also enjoyed this celebration along with Jaipurites.
