Harp is in the house, so join the International Chamber Artists (ICA) to hear “The Lyric-al Harpist”.  ICA’s harpist, Marguerite Lynn Williams, is the new Principal Harp of the Lyric Opera of Chicago.  She will be featured at this concert on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 4:00 PM at St. Gregory the Great Church, located at 5535 N Paulina St, Chicago, IL 60640, one block from Ashland and Bryn Mawr.

You will hear an ICA first, a world premiere of modern virtuoso composer Stephen Kleiman’s Song, Dances and Allegretto.  The other outstanding selections of music are Richard Strauss’ Quartet in C Minor, Op. 13, Marcel Tournier’s Suite, Op. 34, and Camille Saint-Saëns’ Fantaisie, Op. 124.

“Harp was independently invented in many parts of the world,” says Patrick Godon, ICA Founder and Artistic Director. “Join us to hear diverse influences from an array of composers.”

ICA concerts are free with a suggested donation of $15.
