Credit Card Management Services, Inc. dba Debthelper.com Receives Grant from Wells Fargo

March 30, 2012 - PRLog -- Credit Card Management Services, Inc., D/b/a Debthelper.com, a 501c3 Non-profit, Florida, HUD-Approved Housing Counseling Agency dedicated to its mission of providing compassionate and professional housing counseling and education services, has been awarded a grant of $10,000.00 through the Wells Fargo Foundation on behalf of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage.

This funding will allow Debthelper.com to progress toward its goal of helping to make its community economically self-sustaining and helping to guide families out of financial difficulty.

Debthelper’s goals are: Expanding housing counseling capacity and continuing to offer every client a "personal touch" approach and valuable outcomes. Providing financial education and counseling to low to moderate income families that promotes financial and economic empowerment and sustainability. Partnering with housing developers and property owners to form "Partnership Communities". Collaborating with community leaders to offer evidenced-based programming that fosters longevity and prolongs economic independence for families. Leveraging technology to link financial education with clients and providing continuing education to counselors and staff.

The Homeownership Grant Program provides financial resources to local nonprofit organizations focusing on homebuyer education, pre-and post-purchase counseling, first-time homebuyer counseling, and foreclosure counseling and prevention activities which create sustainable homeownership opportunities for low-to moderate income people.

Credit Card Management Services, Inc. counselors are certified by either NeighborWorks America, the Center of Financial Certification (CFC) and/or are Exam-Qualified in the HUD-HECM Network.
