New Mackin Webcasts Feature The Latest Spring Titles For School, Classroom And Public Libraries
Mackin Educational Resources provides free BookTalk Now! webcasts as a free collection development service for librarians and educators.
As a free collection development service, Mackin’s professional librarians have prepared an elementary and a middle/high school webcast, each featuring over 110 titles and series. These BookTalk Now! webcasts showcase full-color cover images of each featured title as well as a sampling of page spreads, a thorough description of each book, its special features and information as to how the book can be used in a library or classroom situation. A wide variety of titles encompass all grade levels and subjects within each webcast including Math, Social Studies, Science, Language Arts, Picture Books, Realistic Fiction and more.
Titles included within the BookTalk Now! webcasts have been carefully selected by Mackin collection professionals based on meetings with publishers, information from respected review sources, updated catalogs and newly released advance book samples.
Sandy Knauff from Carondelet Catholic School, Minneapolis, MN commented, "Mackin’s BookTalk Now! webinars are so helpful with making our book order lists. The reviewers do a wonderful job. This is another great free service provided by Mackin. We are so appreciative of Mackin!”
The elementary and middle/high school Spring BookTalk Now! webcasts are available for viewing on Mackin.com beginning in early April.
