The End Of UFOlogy Is At Hand: Disclosue Petition II Does Not Get Required Signatures

March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- This week, the UFO community suffered a staggering blow to the claims of UFO Cover-up/Conspiracies, and I hope a well needed “wake-up” call when the The Disclosure Petition II - The Rockefeller Petition put forth by Stephen Bassett did not achieve the necessary signatures to require a response from the White House and was removed from "We the People" on March 25, 2012.

The Disclosure Petition II was posted on the White House website for sixty days (including the first submission on December 1, 2011) and drew minor media attention from accredited journalists, radio/TV,  but mostly from internet bloggers and UFO enthusiasts.

The fact of the matter is that 25,000 signatures were needed to keep the petition alive.

Stephen Bassett, who was on The ‘X’ Zone Radio/TV Show, February 15 2012 said that the petition signing was not just limited to the citizens of the US but open to the world.

I quickly pointed out to Bassett that according to the US Census of July 2011, the population of the United States was 311,591,917 and a worldwide population count of 6,840,507,003 (2010) and that if the total number of 25,000 signatures were the magic number, and with all the people worldwide that UFO enthusiasts claim that there are, the number of 25,000 should be a very easy number to reach - if in fact the UFO phenomena was real - and not the claims of a few.

As I predicted, the Disclosure Petition II - The Rockefeller Initiative failed to get the necessary 25,000 votes with a worldwide final count of 6,937 (18,063 short.)

It is apparent that the people of the world have spoken out loud and clear that the UFO phenomena is a dying issue as evidenced by the sad showing of signatures on the Disclose Petition II.

Here are the facts:
-   There are 311,591,917 people in the United States (US Census July 2011);
-   There are 6,840,507,003 people worldwide (Including the US 0 2010);
-   25,000 signatures were need to keep the petition alive;
-   0nly 6,937 signatures were collected worldwide;
-   therefore - 0.000001014106118 of the world population signed the Disclosure Petition II - The Rockefeller Initiative.

The excuses for the very poor response to the Disclosure Petition II - The Rockefeller Initiative  and the removal of the petition from the Government  website, “We the People” were quick to come from Stephen Bassett and the Paradigm Research Group:

-   the 25,000 signature threshold, increased from 5,000.

-   decrease in the public engagement of "We the People" after the threshold increase to 25,000.  During the first sixty days after "We the People" was launched on September 22, 2011, between 15,000 and 20,000 petitions were submitted.  During the past sixty days petition submissions were a small fraction of that number.   The result has been far less traffic to the site and fewer crossover signatures.  At this time only sixty petitions are active and many of those are early submissions waiting on a response.

-   serious problems signing the petition.  From early December forward PRG received many complaints from people having great difficulty signing the DP II

-   petition fatigue.  The "We the People" project is now five months old and many are a bit weary of being prompted to sign petitions.

-   media coverage of the "We the People" project and submitted petitions has decreased substantially.

In an email to Bassett earlier this evening, I said, “It would seem that the world wide interest is based on the ‘disinformation’ being spread by the UFO community itself. In my opinion - it is not the government who is suppressing the information on UFOs but the UFO community who is claiming that the government is suppressing the information as a ploy not to have to provide evidence for their vague and un substantiated UFO claims.”

Bassett has yet to reply.

In a move to try and keep the UFO / government conspiracy momentum going and to keep stirring the political pot, Bassett has not launched a new petition, Disclosure Petition III - Nuclear Weapons Tampering.

The new Disclosure Petition III - Nuclear Weapons Tampering - is calling attention to extraordinary claims and allegations from former ranking members of the United States Air Force. It is part of the White House's "We the People" project.

On September 27, 2010 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC a press conference was held in which testimony regarding incidents of weapons tampering by unidentified craft was presented to the media.  Those former members of the USAF who were present, making the extraordinary claims and allegations include self-proclaimed  witnesses were all former U. S. Air Force personnel and included  Lt. Col. Dwynne Arneson, Capt. Bruce Fenstermacher, Col. Charles Halt, Capt. Robert Jamison, Patrick McDonough, 1st Lt. Jerome Nelson, and Capt. Robert Salas.  According to  PRG’s recent press release, most of these witnesses have held high security clearance.

This is the second time that these people have tried to get more than their 5 minutes of fame and glory, which again failed miserably.

Once again, let’s look at the numbers and see why people are not taking these claims seriously:

If there is or was nuclear tampering of the U.S. nuclear arsenal, why are there only a hand full of military personnel coming forth with these claims of UFOs tampering with the U.S. nuclear weapons?

Once again, let continue looking at the fats… the numbers:
-   3,627,131 - the Total Number of “Active” Military personnel in 2009;
-   883,616 - The Total Number of “Reserve” Military personnel in 2009;
-   97,976 - Other DOD Personnel;
-   7 members or 0.000001535518068of the military claim UFOs were tampering with the US nuclear arsenal ;
-   or - 4,558,722 or 99.999% of the military have not seen extraterrestrial craft tampering with the U.S. nuclear arsenal.

Another story that we broke on The ‘X’ Zone Radio/TV Show was when one of the most respected Roswell / UFO researchers and authors stated that new evidence has come forth which might prove that the Roswell, New Mexico event of 1947 was NOT a crashed UFO!

According to Dr Kevin Randle (Major in the National Guard Reserve), a group of Roswell UFO/Crash investigators, researchers and authors are taking a hard look at this new evidence and will be revealing their finding in the near future.

What will happen if after all these years and all of the claims that have been made by authors, researcher, investigators and even the new claims of government conspiracies and cover-ups when it comes to aliens and UFOs?

Undoubtedly, there will be a great number of people who will be back paddling and they will find a new reason why not to trust the word of these highly respected who are honest enough to come forth with their findings.

In my opinion, the end of UFOlogy is at hand.
