March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- There’s no stopping Harlem’s new tea lady on the scene.  On the cusp of her Southern States tour where she’ll be revisiting her roots, making stops in South Carolina, Georgia and Louisiana, performing the Chinese Tea Ceremony in honor of April being National Stress Awareness month, Sheena Foster is taking Harlem by storm where she will be culminating her tour.

If you haven’t heard about CuriosiTeas NYC by now, you will very soon, as you can't help to notice the radiance and energy of owner and Harlem resident, Sheena Foster. Launching just this past February during National Entrepreneurship Week at Harlem’s Gran Piatto d’Oro on Fifth Ave and sponsored by the New York Women Chamber of Commerce, over 125 guest relished in the custom hand-blends made with love by Mouth Morris Parks’ very own, self proclaimed “Dutchess of Harlem” inspired by the name of one of her custom blends and Harlem’s historical origin.  

Sheena will be adding a little spice to the “run of the mill” social tea gatherings here in Manhattan, with a focus on promoting Tea and Health. In honor of April being National Stress Awareness and National Minority Health Month, Sheena will be performing the Traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony at local yoga studios and in peaceful settings for all to enjoy.

Dressed if full garb - the Chinese Qipao dress, with southern Chinese music playing in the background that adds to the ultimate tranquil and serene environment, Sheena Foster, will take you on an amazing journey where you will not only learn about the health benefits of teas and it origin, but you'll learn a bit about fair trade consumerism and taste some of her custom hand blends with the event culminating in the Chinese Tea Ceremony.

After an experience in Delhi, India, where Sheena spent several weeks building homes with Habitat for Humanity international and building camaraderie over tea with local villagers in one of the most impoverished villages where she also taught English, she returned to the states and subsequently launched her own specialty tea company.
