Velocity ONC Certified Complete EHR General Release From MobiuSoft in Flint, Michigan
Velocity ONC Certified Complete EHR General Release from MobiuSoft in Flint, Michigan. After 3 years of development and 18 months of pilot testing, Mobiusoft is excited to announce the release of its Velocity ONC Certified Complete EHR.
Long ago, we identified that the biggest challenge physicians were going to have was not implementing a Stage I compliant EHR. The biggest challenge was going to be supplementing an EHR with interfaces to meet Stage II requirements for electronically integrating with all facets of patient care coordination. We were right. Today, the costs to develop, certify, and implement the necessary EHR interfaces to HIEs, pharmacies, laboratories, and state registries, combined with training administrative and clinical staff, is cost prohibitive to the small physician practice. And enterprise systems that include those features range from $25,000 to $50,000 per clinician.
When the Mobiusoft Velocity EHR and HIE systems were being designed in early 2009, the current PCMH requirements and the future expectations for the CMS Electronic Health Record Incentive Program served as our blueprints. We knew that Velocity needed to provide enterprise features at a fraction of enterprise system prices. Through the use of cutting edge technology, we are able to provide just that. Velocity is a completely cloud-based web application that offers a feature-rich experience without sacrificing functionality. No more costly servers sitting in a closet or specialized software to maintain—if you have a computer running Windows 7 with internet connectivity, then you’re ready to use Velocity. Let us manage the servers, data, and software maintenance and support you with what you do best, delivering quality health care.
