British Fans Name Bill Oberst Jr. "King Of Horror"

March 28, 2012 - PRLog -- Actor Bill Oberst Jr. (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2454994/) has been named 2012's "King Of Horror" by the U.K. horror fan community Erebus Horror (http://erebushorror.wordpress.com/2012/03/28/king-of-horror/). Oberst is known to millions of Facebook users across the world as the cyber stalker in Jason Zada's viral Facebook application Take This Lollipop (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Take_This_Lollipop) , which made net history when it garnered 12.5 million Facebook likes within weeks of its debut.

The award announcement reads in part:

"We thought long and hard about who we should name our King of Horror. With his bizarre torso and creepy features, Oberst has no problem standing out amongst other ‘ordinary’ horror actors. His image alone is starting to gain recognition. But what makes him a horror star? More importantly, what gives him that edge which pushes him past your average horror actor? We could tell you in so many words, or we could just show you..."

The actor has amassed over 70 film & television credits since arriving in Los Angeles four years ago, according to the film database site IMDb. Prior to 2008 Oberst had been a working east coast stage actor for 13 years.
