The Connecticut Specialty Food Association has announced the winners of its eleventh Product Awards Competition.
El’s Kitchen is the proud Second Place winner in the gluten free category for its Cheddar Medleys Snack Mix. Taking Third Place in the same category was El’s Original Medleys Snack Mix.
CSFA is a subdivision of the CT Food Association and is a non-profit organization that represents small food businesses based in the state. A panel of 21 judges scored products on overall taste/flavor, consistency/
texture, appeal, and color.
El’s Kitchen manufactures a popular line of gluten free snacks including the two award winners: Cheddar Medleys feature tangy white cheddar tossed with El’s snack mix to produce a crunchy, perfectly balanced cheesy mouthful.
