Charitable Organization Goes Green

March 26, 2012 - PRLog -- HOUSTON – Miami-based Links of Luv was founded to educate and provide links to resources on health, nutrition, and natural products.  The charitable organization recently enrolled with the Green Business Bureau (GBB) to become green business certified.
Brenda Moss, Founder and CEO of Links of Luv says the organization recognized the needed to educate the community on how to contribute to environment preservation through green product and services.
“The Green Business Bureau has been a great assistance in Links of Luv achieving its objective by providing simple and direct ways for the consumers and businesses to ‘go green’,” says Moss.
Before Links of Luv joined the GBB, the organization became a paperless environment, began recycling, and began purchasing and using products that are good for the environment.   “After joining GBB,” says Moss, “we realized that our educational journey was just beginning. “
Looking forward, says Moss, Links of Luv will continue to employ green initiatives, and will work towards educating the community on the importance and the benefits of going green. One way is through the “Create R’ Design” division that will assist small business and personal clients with office management by organizing their space reducing disorder and initiating green procedures.    
The GBB promotes and educates businesses on the importance of sustainable operating practices through its national, third-party certification.  Combining a cutting-edge online platform with independent, third-party auditing, the GBB offers a robust accreditation that demonstrates to consumers that a business has committed to employing eco-friendly practices.  The GBB membership seal has become a recognized symbol that identifies an environmentally-responsible enterprise to consumers and other businesses alike.
