Zeus Global UK goes backstage as the X Factor live tour comes to the Midlands

March 26, 2012 - PRLog -- The X Factor live tour came to Birmingham’s LG Arena on Saturday and Coventry based Zeus Global UK were invited to pop backstage and meet with the finalists before the show.  A spokesperson for Zeus Global UK, who attended the event, said ‘One of our clients is linked with the X Factor and so we were lucky enough to get tickets that allowed us to go backstage and meet with the finalists! It was actually very exciting, just chatting with them and finding out what they’ve been up to since the show ended’.

The X Factor live tour is a huge production and usually features the top ten acts that made it through to the live shows. This year however there were only 9 acts, due to the scandal which saw finalist Frankie Cocozza swiftly removed from the show.  The acts were as follows:  The Risk, Johnny Robinson, Kitty Brucknall, Craig Colton, Janet Devlin and Misha B, as well as the final 3, Amelia Lily, Marcus Collins and girl group Little Mix.

Zeus Global UK spent time chatting with the acts backstage, including Coventry local Charlie from The Risk. The Risk, who came 10th in the competition were controversially put together by mentor Tulisa in the judge’s houses stage of the programme. The Risk member Charlie, 25, originally auditioned as part of five piece The Keys. When The Keys were eliminated from the competition, the Coventry singer was given the opportunity to join three original members of The Risk to create a new ‘super group’.

‘Meeting the acts was a fantastic experience and it was particularly nice to see a Coventry local up there doing us proud!’ A spokesperson for Zeus Global UK commented. ‘All of the acts were incredibly friendly and chatty when we met them and the performances were absolutely amazing. Even the acts that left the show early were faultless, there were no novelties this year like there have been in the past, notably Wagner!’

Following the show Zeus Global UK may actually be bigger fans of the X Factor than previously thought! ‘There is no disputing the talent the show uncovers and the opportunities it can create for people with a dream.’
