Ability Clinical Technologies to Speak at Disaster Recovery Journal Spring World 2012

March 25, 2012 - PRLog -- With patient identity information being the number one target of identity theives, Ability Clinical Technologies as part of the BCM Professionals team will be speaking at the Disaster Recovery Journal's (DRJ) Spring World 2012.  The conference will be held at Disney's Coronado Resort from Sunday March 25 through Wednesday, March 28.  

Ability's session "Patient and Data Security" will be presented by Nancy Hoehn, DTM, MA in the Fiesta 3 room on Monday at 6pm.  This half hour session will cover vulnerabilities of cloud-based data systems versus in-house systems.

Ability's second session, "James Bond meets George Jetson" will be presented by Scott Hoehn, DTM, CNA in the Fiesta 3 room on Tuesday at 12 noon.  This light-hearted look at today's gadgetry combined with deception tactics will demonstrate the vulnerabilities of which most offices are susceptible.

Additional sessions by the BCMP team will cover topics "Communications During a Crisis", "Public-Private Partnerships in Local Government", "Health Information Exchange and Potential Utility in Disaster Management", "Maintaining Patient Privacy During a Disaster", "Nursing Homes and Disaster Recovery" and "Active Shooter Incidents are Better to Defend Against Than to Recover From".
