March 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC – Clairemont Communications  (http://www.clairemontcommunications.com/) is proud to announce Red Chip Sponsorship for the Striving in the city Soiree (http://www.soiree4striving.com)  .  The Striving in the City Soiree is the annual fundraising benefit to support Striving For More, Inc. (http://www.Striving4more.org) at Mirage Night Club on April 14, 2012 (http://www.soiree4striving.com).  All proceeds from the Soiree benefit Striving For More, Inc.  Striving For More, Inc. helps families of dying children with support at Duke and UNC Hospitals.

Clairemont Communications takes a tactics-agnostic approach to devising PR and marketing strategies using both traditional – media relations, event planning and social media for marketing and PR strategic success.

Diane Moore, is the CEO of Striving for More, (http://www.Striving4more.org)  a Triangle-based nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that children with cancer and their families receive quality emotional and spiritual support.  Moore's passion for helping families is personal, as she lost her 8 year old daughter, Colleen, to Osteosarcoma in 2008.  After the Moore family's tragic experience, Diane noticed that there was an alarming lack of psychological and emotional support available in hospitals for children with cancer.  Striving for More is dedicated to ensuring that children with cancer and their families receive quality emotional and spiritual support.

Striving For More, Inc. offers this support to UNC and Duke Children's oncology departments in the following ways:  patient support groups, Digital Art Therapy, Chemo Duck Program, Book Donations, Beads of Courage program, Procedure Room Art Mural, Medical Play Dolls and additional resources for parents.
