Heritage Square to hold antique ‘road show’

Holladay Properties, in conjunction with Max Black Fine Art, is currently planning its own version of the popular PBS program, Antiques Roadshow. The event, dubbed the Heritage Road Show will be held at Heritage Square, the 180,000 square foot open-air shopping center located at the intersection of State Road 23 and Main Street in Mishawaka, Ind., on Saturday, June 23 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

“Guests can bring antique items and art to Heritage Square to be verbally appraised or determine restoration costs,” Amy Heline, Marketing and Customer Service Manager at Heritage Square said. “We will have well-respected appraisers from our area and Chicago on hand that will be performing the appraisals for those who wish to take advantage of the service. The first item is free; however, we will charge $5 for each additional item.”

Tents and tables will be set up at "The Square," the area between Martin’s and Gino’s East, where the majority of appraisers and conservators will be collected, ready to look at guests’ antiques and collectibles. The art appraiser will be at Max Black Fine Art, located in Suite 238 of Heritage Square, a fine art gallery and custom framing shop which features the area’s largest collection of custom framing design elements.
