Teva Shoes Winners Get Trip Of A Lifetime To Fiji

Between the 17th of October 2011 and the 5th January 2012, Teva ran a competition online with e-tailer Activinstinct to win an all inclusive 5-star private yacht trip to Fiji.

March 22, 2012 - PRLog -- The winners assumed VIP identities for the week they were away - sailing around the islands off Fiji and stopping along the way to explore reefs and getting to experience everything paradise has to offer including natural waterslides, swimming with dolphins and exploring the rainforest by zip-wire. Of the trip of a lifetime, one of the UK winners said, “My experience on the Tui Tai is something I will never forget and will remain as one of the fondest memories of my life. Watching the traditional Fatele dance, Kava ceremonies, and visiting Taveuni Island to crossing the International Date Line are just some of the memories I’ll take away from this amazing experience.”

Activinstinct advertised the contest via a button on its homepage which linked through to an entry page where applicants could shop for Teva product after entering. It was also promoted on its Facebook site, through social and e-marketing, Activinstinct’s digital magazine and highlighted in Activinstinct’s book-a-zine, available at all W.H Smith locations November. Simon Millet, Managing director of Millet Sports and Activinstinct said, “We regularly work with brands on competitions and customer focused initiatives and get a great response, but this competition broke all the records both in terms of interest and positive customer engagement with the brand. We can’t wait to see what the next one will do!”

During the period of the competition, year- on-year sell through of Teva product increased by 200% and of the pairs sold, 50% were more progressive, closed toe styles such as the Forge Pro Winter Mid which came out in Fall 2011. According to Luke Schryver, Teva UK Marketing Manager, “With the great increase in sell through and over 33,000 people to add to both brands’ databases, we are extremely happy with the way the competition worked. Teva House continues to show its value for both the consumer and the brand.”
