The event will mark the tenth time that Pavilion organizer Kallman Worldwide has brought North American technology, quality and innovation to the show. “U.S. presence in the market has steadily grown over the 18 years and 10 shows in which we’ve been involved,” remarked Kallman Worldwide president and CEO, Tom Kallman. “The F-16 is fully integrated into the Chilean Air Force and with it, the myriad of U.S. suppliers who are part of that program. “Along with that, we have witnessed LAN’s meteoric growth over the past two decades. From air traffic control systems to airborne platforms to the procurement of the 767, 777--and soon, the 787--for LAN’s commercial fleet, the American presence in Chile today can only be described as ‘ubiquitous.’” The Hon. Alejandro Wolff, U.S. Ambassador to Chile, is among the distinguished guests scheduled to cut the ribbon on the U.S. Pavilion at its Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, March 27th, at approximately 11:15 am in pavilion’s Meeting Point (Hall C, Booth C13). Other scheduled events at the show include several business briefings to help American companies explore additional business opportunities in Latin America. New this year are Brazil Day and Colombia Day. Each event offers valuable trade-focused networking and insights, with presentations from the Commanders in Chief of each country’s air force, as well as key executives from Embraer, LAN/TAM (Brazil) and Avianca (Colombia).
