Hamper Company Show Support for Humperdinck

March 22, 2012 - PRLog -- In a bid to raise awareness on the social network, Virginia Hayward are asking users to like and share their page and status updates. When the company reaches 2,000 ‘likes’, they’ll be asking users to come up with a gift message for a personalised hamper, which they’ll print onto the hamper’s leather tag and send to Engelbert himself, to make sure that he’s in fighting form to take on the competition in Azerbaijan.

The author of the best message, as judged by the organisers, will also win a personalised hamper, which will be sent to their home, or an address of their choice.

Alex Walker, Marketing Manager at Virginia Hayward Ltd explains, “We heard Engelbert’s Eurovision song on the radio and began to wonder what we could do to show our support for him and avoid the dreaded ‘nil points’.

“We wanted to host the competition on Facebook, as it gives our fans an easy way to share the competition with their friends and hopefully generate some real support for Engelbert in his bid for European glory. We wish him every success and can only hope that our efforts give Engelbert the boost that he’ll need to go on and win Eurovision.”
