March 21, 2012 - PRLog -- NAWBO California, a federation of nine chapters of the National Association of Women Business Owners, announced its newest affiliate partner, Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), a Washington, D.C.-based organization that educates and advocates on behalf of women-owned businesses within the nation’s legislative process.

NAWBO California [http://www.nawbo-ca.org] serves its business owner members through ongoing efforts to improve the state’s business climate. “This partnership will provide both organizations with an even more effective presence on public policy,” said May Pon, NAWBO California President. “We have long been impressed with WIPP’s dynamic approach to interacting with the legislative process and its service as an influential business advocate. We look forward to further collaboration to encourage a healthy business climate for all entrepreneurs.”

Carla Cobb Davis, who is NAWBO California’s Immediate Past President and its International and U.S. Affiliation Director, said: “WIPP [http://www.wipp.org] was a targeted affiliation for NAWBO California – the organization is widely respected for its nonpartisan and intelligent approach to economic policy as well as its powerful track record. They thoroughly monitor the development of business policies and disseminate important information to its members and partners.
