SportsOne Names Courtney Jensen Senior Project Manager

March 20, 2012 - PRLog -- BEAVERTON, Ore. – National sports and entertainment marketing agency SportsOne is pleased to announce Courtney Jensen as senior project manager. Jensen will oversee various partner activations, including the Safeway Invitational celebrity golf tournament, the Nike Women’s Marathon and the Safeway Game Day Experience tour.

Jensen, who earned a bachelor of science in hospitality management with an emphasis in special event planning from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, brings four years of corporate event experience to SportsOne.

“Courtney’s vast knowledge and ability to anticipate are vital elements for seamless execution,” said SportsOne president and founder Jim Etzel. “Her attention to detail and high level of energy are key to bringing complex events to fruition.”

Most recently Jensen was the program manager for the Safeway Foundation – Safeway’s philanthropic arm based in Pleasanton, Calif. where she coordinated events benefitting the Foundation.
