Taylor Appoints The Pr Farm To Handle Waste Brief
The world’s number one manufacturer of metal bins, Taylor, has appointed environmental PR specialist, The PR Farm, to manage the waste giant’s corporate communications as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Taylor’s decision to retain the Surrey-based agency coincides with the appointment of Julian Gaylor as Sales and Marketing Director, who has been brought back to the business after five years following its acquisition by London environmental investors, Sullivan Street Partners and Oakfield Capital Partners.
On retaining The PR Farm, Julian comments: “2012 is a big year for Taylor as it celebrates fifty successful years as a UK manufacturer and will tackle the waste sector with a renewed sense of energy following its acquisition. The PR Farm has demonstrated a first-rate approach to corporate communications and will play a critical role in communicating Taylor’s successes and plans for growth over the next twelve months.”
The PR Farm will work with the Midlands-based business to develop and execute a thought leadership programme across the public and private sectors. The agency will also communicate Taylor’s commitment to developing its export market and work on new product launches planned throughout 2012.
The PR Farm’s Managing Director, Stuart Pearson, adds: “Taylor is a hugely resected figure within the waste management industry and we’re delighted to have been appointed as one of its key strategic partners.”
