KidSenses, an NC Children's Museum, Debuts New Web Site

March 16, 2012 - PRLog -- Rutherfordton, NC - KidSenses, a western North Carolina children’s museum, recently announced the debut of their brand new web site, kidsenses.com.  The new site design was contracted to ZURV, a web design and marketing firm also based in Rutherford County, NC.

"We were looking for a fun and fresh new design coupled with an online donation system and easy checkout for purchasing memberships. We decided to partner with ZURV because they are an established and respected web design firm. They were great to work with, and walked us through every step of the process." said KidSenses’ Executive Director, Jessica Moss.

The kid-friendly museum serves as a valuable educational and recreational resource for regional schools and families. The improvements to the web site were aimed at reaching out to new visitors that may be unaware of the museum, as well as developing a stronger connection with those that spend time regularly at KidSenses.

“KidSenses is a great place for additional learning outside of the classroom; not only because of their fun and interactive exhibits, but because the museum staff offers excellent hands-on lessons and workshops” said Griffe Youngleson, Director of Technology at ZURV. “We had to find a way to convey this message so parents and educators outside of Rutherford County, such as in Asheville, Charlotte, and other parts of the region, would realize what a great learning tool it is.”

The new Kidsenses.com launched in early January 2012.
