To mark the Diamond Jubilee, the Trust is in the throws of an ambitious campaign to help people across the UK plant six million trees, collectively known as the ‘Jubilee Woods’ project. Additionally, sixty Diamond Woods will be created for the public to enjoy and to stand as fitting monuments to Her Majesty. The Trust are already well on the way to meeting their target with over one million trees planted in February alone. Trees are also the talk of grand events of a very different kind as they are fast becoming a ‘must have’ at wedding ceremonies up and down the country.
