Unemployed and those being made redundant to benefit from new skills training
Thousands of people who are unemployed or facing redundancy across the Eastern region are set to benefit from a new support package delivered by leading development specialists The Consultancy Home Counties (TCHC).
The first – Skills Support for the Unemployed & Apprenticeship Support to Employers – aims to help unemployed people back into work through support, advice and training.
The second – Skills Support for Redundancy – offers employers and their staff funded advice, guidance and re-training opportunities to help prepare individuals for a new job, a new career or business start-up after redundancy.
The aim is to help 13,000 people get back into work in Essex, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
TCHC, which specialises in business and workforce development solutions throughout the East of England, offers expert advice across all industry sectors.
Dale Morgan, TCHC’s CEO, commented: “Having supported over 6,500 individuals into work in the last 18 months, we once again look forward to working successfully and closely with our partners to make a very positive impact on the lives of many individuals within the region.
