Fred Laing of Douglas Laing at Loch & K(e)y’s “Go Whisk(e)y Weekend!”

The weekend of February 24th, Julio’s experienced a weekend full of whisky, with over 200 whiskies to sample from around the world.  Whiskeys included popular Douglas of Drumlanrig samples, presented by the owner himself, Fred Laing who flew in all the way from Scotland for the event.  Douglas of Drumlanrig carries a vast stock of different Malts built up over the last 50 years and has maitained its popularity with their Old Malk Cask Whiskey’s, and use of the original blend specifications handed down to them.
   
With a line out the door and practically around the corner, “Go Whisk(e)y Weekend” was a huge success!  Julio’s hosts “Whiskey Wednesday” every Wednesday, offering free whisky tasting to the public.
