March 14, 2012 - PRLog -- East Tennessee Center for Clinical Research, the clinical research division of The Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center has successfully conducted pharmaceutical sponsored studies since 1994 in the areas of allergy, asthma, COPD, PIDD, and sinusitis.

Currently Conducting Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria Research Study

Study Purpose and Design:

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of an investigational medication for the treatment of chronic urticaria.

Approximately 13 study visits
Lasts up to 42 weeks
Study Qualifications:

12- 75 years of age

Have experienced itching and hives for more than 6 weeks continuously despite current treatment

MUST be willing and able to complete an electronic study diary twice daily at home for the duration of the study

Diagnosis of Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria for at least 6 months

Compensation:
Compensation for time and travel may be available
