Author Dawn Baker To Speak At East Georgia College

Baker will be speaking to the students at East Georgia College in Swainsboro on March 24, 2012 during an 11:00A.M. assembly and participating in a community luncheon and book signing at 12noon.   Dawn’s Daughter, Baker’s premiere self-help book for teen and young adult females, made its debut on November 8, 2011. She will discuss her success as an author and provide insight about her book. East Georgia College is a fully accredited two-year college of the University System of Georgia, serving Emanuel, Bulloch, and other counties throughout east central Georgia.  The main campus is located in Swainsboro, GA and a satellite location is in Statesboro, GA.

Baker is a news anchor with WTOC-TV in Savannah.  In her spare time, she supports her community by hosting multiple charitable events and serving as a board member for various non-profit organizations.
