Bullying is considered one of the top public health issues in the country according to the Federal Partners in Bullying Prevention Summit 2011. Bullying can impact the victims for a lifetime through depression, anxiety, low self esteem and relationship issues; bullies can grow up without development of social emotional skills and become more destructive. Bystanders often do nothing or do not know what to do, even through research indicates that bystanders can be helping to the victim, bully and school environment.
