Work Hard – Work Smart to Host First National Career Readiness Job Fair

The Work Hard-Work Smart initiative, spearheaded by the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be sponsoring a Job Fair on May 1st, 2012. The Job Fair will take place at Sikes Senter Mall from 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
 
March 12, 2012 - PRLog -- The Work Hard-Work Smart initiative, spearheaded by the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be sponsoring a Job Fair on May 1st, 2012.  The Job Fair will take place at Sikes Senter Mall from 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  

Wichita County businesses who have signed a letter of commitment with the Work Hard – Work Smart program, as well as other Texas and Oklahoma businesses who have signed letters of commitment, are invited to participate and showcase job opportunities throughout their company If you are an employer who would like to sign a letter of commitment and get the opportunity to participate in the job fair, you can do so by going to our website at workhardworksmart.net.

Highlights of the job fair include a business fashion show sponsored by local retail stores, resume critiquing by staffing agencies and interviewing tips.  Food vendors will also be available.  

This Job Fair is another effort by Work Hard – Work Smart to stimulate the regional economy, make our local employers more successful, and get the unemployed and under-employed back to work.
