By: Jennifer Daugherty - The Remi Group ASMC is a private, not-for-profit organization offering residential and support services for residents of North Carolina with autism, traumatic brain injuries, and other developmental disabilities. ASMC began in 1979 operating one group home and now operates eight adult group homes throughout the county. Additionally, ASMC is nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). ASMC also offers The Achievement Club where Club Members work on job readiness skills, computer skills, exercise and wellness, cultural awareness, current events, and educational activities, which includes arts & crafts. Brent is honored to take on this new position and is looking forward to making a difference and serving his community.
