Follow on Google News | The Zen Engines make their debut with new spiritually based albumAlternative rock band, The Zen Engines have released their debut album ‘Obrigado’ - inspired by a recent healing journey experienced by Gregg Kirk when visiting ‘John of God’ in Brazil.
By: MoonGlow PR After two decades of playing with several successful East Coast bands, Gregg Kirk embarked on his healing pilgrimage to Brazil in late 2010 and within days, new music began to emerge. Originally, the focus of the songs was self-healing, but Kirk soon realized that the music and vibrations could have a powerful effect on others and that has become the primary focus of this release… to raise the vibrations and healing of anyone who hears these songs. Gregg Kirk will be returning to Brazil this month for two weeks to meet with John of God while also compiling photos and video for an upcoming documentary on the spiritual pilgrimage that led to the creation of this album. The documentary will be produced and directed by Greg Marcel of Philadelphia, PA. João Teixeira de Faria, known also as ‘John of God’, is a self-described medium and "psychic surgeon" from Brazil. He is based in Abadiânia, a small southwest of Brasília. John of God is a medium with extraordinary capabilities, who is dedicated to the healing of others. For more than 50 years he has channeled over 30 spirit entities who perform healings on the thousands who visit him at his center, the Casa de Dom Inácio de Loyola. “It is not me who cures - God is the healer. I am simply the vessel” - John of God. For more information on The Zen Engines, go to: http://www.TheZenEngines.com End
