Gava Presents Inaugural Inspire Award To Joseph Vassallo, Cbp Of Paragon Pools Las Vegas

March 11, 2012 - PRLog -- The GAVA Awards http://www.gavaawards.com , hosted by Three V Enterprises (3VE) revealed the first ever Inspire Award, recognizing individuals who inspire greatness in others through their unselfish devotion, creativity and passion in the field of AquaTekture, during the organization’s recent annual awards ceremony.

Unaware of the creation of the special award, Vassallo was presented the honor by GAVA Advisory Board Member Brett Abbott, (CEO of MYM Austin Inc.) during the 3rd annual awards reception held at CityCenter in Las Vegas.

Founder and president of Paragon Pools, Vassallo’s devotion spans over 2 decades where he has devoted time, resources and finances to enhance the industry.  His work includes lobbying for fair business legislation, and working with city and county building departments, as well as state and national legislature on safety issues.
The Inspire Award winner serves on numerous Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP) boards and committees locally and nationally.  Vassallo currently serves on the Builders Council, the Education Committee and the National Board of Directors.

Widely recognized for his innovative designs, he has won many international design awards.  He is one of few world-wide to hold the distinguished APSP CBP credentials.

Mentoring aspiring designers, Vassallo delivers seminars for high-end pool designs and has published several design books, including the annual GAVA Winners Publications and The Al Fresco Life: pools, spas, bars and kitchens.  A former columnist for the Las Vegas Review Journal Home section, he currently is the International Advisor and contributing columnist for Waves: India’s pool, spa and bath magazine providing consumers and industry members with valuable insight into designing and constructing swimming pools and spas.

He was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and   honored for his educational and water safety community work with the Jefferson Award, the Golden Hands Service Award, and the Citizen of Distinction.
