Encouraging participants to share their resolutions and illustrate why winning a FREE cruise would help make their New Year’s Resolution happen, contestants posted their entries to Montrose Travel’s Facebook fan page. Fans then voted for the winning submission. Many submissions had fantastic resolutions like spending more time with family or experiencing something new, but Darlene was the lucky winner with the following entry:

As a single parent my daily life has become so routine. I get up and do pretty much the same thing every day. Work, Meals, Homework, Chauffeur, Baths, Clean house, etc… My resolution is to be more spontaneous and throw caution to the wind. If I were to win a cruise I would pack my bags and hop the next boat out of ‘routineville.’
