Nat Brooks of Procter & Gamble Keynotes Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Conference
Nat Brooks, the Global Program Manager for Competitive Intelligence at Procter & Gamble, will give the May 17 Keynote on how to develop high impact intelligence organizations at the 27th SCIP Conference in Philadelphia .
“Too many competitive intelligence professionals try to implement a textbook or agency approach to competitive intelligence in corporate and non-profit environments,”
Brooks adds, “In my keynote I will offer a different approach to developing intelligence organizations and building CI careers…one that works from the inside out. CI professionals will better appreciate and build on the competitive knowledge and instinct already resident in their firms, and mold their activities to how their firms actually operate. Above all, I want conference attendees to understand and embrace their role of impassioned leader instead of dispassionate analyst.”
In addition to his corporate team, Brooks oversees a global network of intelligence leaders and contributors. He is a member of P&G’s prestigious CFO Circle, an organization that recognizes the company’s senior experts in key functional priorities such as competitive intelligence. Brooks is a member and past chairman of the Conference Board’s Competitive Intelligence Council, a member of the SCIP, and also a member of the advisory board to the Fuld-Gilad-Herring Academy of Competitive Intelligence.
