High Demand for Diamonds from Celebrities Say Stone House

Last month at the Brit Awards in London, pop singer, songwriter Adele was seen wearing a 1.77 carat Fancy Diamond, whilst recording artist Jennifer Lopez has also been spotted wearing a 6 carat Fancy Vivid Pink Diamond; which, as it turns out, has been something of a wise investment having significantly increased in value since it was first purchased in 2003.

The rise in demand for coloured diamonds has been observed by those working in the industry in recent years and now a whole host of celebrities are looking to purchase high end diamonds, both for their aesthetic beauty and investment potential. With demand growing, celebrities are even competing against one another, further increasing the market value of coloured diamonds.

The demand is believed to be caused by investments, status symbols and the growth in popularity for diamond encrusted jewellery.
