George Papalexandratos and DS Philadelphia Inspired by Speaker at 2012 National Kick Off Meeting

Eric Greitens is a former Navy SEAL; award-winning author of The Heart and the Fist; Rhodes Scholar; and CEO of The Mission Continues. His personal military awards include the Navy Achievement Medal, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, and the Navy Commendation Medal, among others. Mr. Greitens has also worked as a humanitarian volunteer, documentary photographer, and researcher. His award-winning book of photographs and essays, Strength and Compassion, is a collection of striking photographs from this work, combined with essays of strength, dignity, courage, faith, hope, and compassion.

Mr. Greitens often speaks with organizations about leadership that is based in strength and compassion, even in the face of adversity. He often shares lessons of leadership, ethics and inspiration that are based in his service efforts as a humanitarian and Navy SEAL.
