March 7, 2012 - PRLog -- The Dragun Corporation is presenting a seminar that will help companies facing environmental remediation challenges. Soil and groundwater remediation can be very expensive, especially when site conditions are not fully understood.  This seminar was held twice in 2011 and was a tremendous success. One attendee said afterwards, “I wish I had seen this information seven years ago, before we started our remediation.”

Dr. James Dragun, president of The Dragun Corporation, said, “Our intent with all of our seminars is to provide useful information so managers and owners can make good business decisions.”

Agenda

• The basics of site characterization: What factors control what happens to releases?
• The fate and transport of release in the subsurface: What's with LNAPLs, DNAPLs, sinkers, floaters, retardation, etc.?
• Basics of site remediation: What is best for my site?
• How to reduce groundwater remediation efforts and expense
• Site remediation options
• How changes in O.Reg 511 affect site activities
