March 6, 2012 - PRLog -- HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – As a new organization intended to mobilize residents, the MidBeach Homeowners Alliance (MBHA) is being introduced as a platform for Miami Beach homeowners and businesses. All residents and business owners in the MidBeach area are invited to attend the MBHA inaugural meeting on Monday, March 19th at 6:30 p.m., which will be hosted by the Mosaic Condominium located at 3801 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, Florida.
During the meeting, the MBHA founding members will discuss the mission, goals and constitution of the organization that is intended to represent the interests of homeowners in the MidBeach District of Miami Beach, spanning from 23rd Street to 63rd Street. “The MidBeach area is a vital part of Miami Beach and such an organization can provide a voice in our community,” said City of Miami Beach Vice Mayor, and President and CEO of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Jerry Libbin, who is also a founding member of the MBHA.
The MBHA was formed by community leaders, who came together to create a platform for MidBeach residents to collaborate and communicate common interests effectively, while mobilizing support on important issues.
Some areas of discussions will include: crime prevention, traffic safety, beautification, municipal planning and zoning changes, as well as the need for more effective and consistent communications with elected leaders, government officials and the business community.
Founding partners of the MBHA include: The Continental Group, 5600 Condominium, Blue Diamond, Canyon Ranch Residence, The Caribbean, Carriage House, The Executive Condominium, Green Diamond, Imperial House, Maison Grande, Mosaic, Regency Tower, Seacoast 5151 and Seacoast 5700.
Additionally, founding members of the new MBHA include: Commissioner Jerry Libbin, Matthew Abramowitz, Alejandro & Kate Arce, Avra Bank, David Basch, Matteo Bianchi, Kevin Brill, Alicia Casanova, David & Carol Cohen, Justin Fuhrman, Michael Girotto, Muhammad Hasan, Nancy Ladd, Roger Leifer, Simon Nemni, Chana Perl, James Richmond, Laverne Rodriguez, Miriam Ruiz, Kim Selmore and Gustavo Verite.
The MBHA strongly encourage MidBeach residents to attend and reach out to fellow neighbors to encourage their participation. The success of the MBHA is heavily dependent on resident involvement and community support.
