NKULEE DUBE nominated for International Reggae and World Music Awards

INTERNATIONAL REGGAE AND WORLD MUSIC AWARDS (IRAWMA,), being held in Chicago Illinois on July 5th 2012

Martin’s International, the producer of the 31st Annual International Reggae & World Music Awards (IRAWMA) is proud to announce that Nkulee Dube is nominated in the following categories:

•   Best New Entertainer
•   Most Promising Entertainer

The coveted 31st IRAWMA which is dedicated to Jamaica’s 50th Year of Independence will be held on Thursday, July 5th, 2012 in conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of the International Festival of Life (IFOL), which runs July 4-8, 2012 in Washington Park, Chicago, Illinois.

The primary objective of Martin’s International is to promote reggae, Caribbean, African and other world music as an art form and as a vehicle for the expression of the voiceless peoples of the world. Each year, the IRAWMA honors entertainers and others associated with world music for their contributions to the industry and to humanity internationally. The last two years live broadcasts and broadcast clips of IRAWMA were viewed worldwide by some 20 million fans on television and over the internet.  

The live radio, television and internet worldwide announcement of the 2011 nominees will be broadcasted live from Jamaica, in the middle of March 2012.
