A&E TV’s Exterminator Makes Personal Appearance at 38th Annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels

March 5, 2012 - PRLog -- BOSTON – A&E television network’s Billy the Exterminator will make a personal appearance to meet spectators and sign free autographs at the 38th annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels (http://www.autorama.com) custom car show and motorsports exposition at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center Mar. 30 to Apr. 1.

Bretherton will make be at the show on Saturday, Mar. 31, 1-4 p.m. and again 6-8 p.m.

The Town Fair Tire World of Wheels features displays of hundreds of one-of-a-kind hot rods, customs, trucks and motorcycles, specialty and feature vehicles, celebrity appearances and special attractions.

As founder of the Louisiana-based, family-owned pest control business Vexcon, Billy Bretherton discovered his love of entomology while serving with the US Air Force in his twenties. While he has wrangled and trapped the creepiest of creatures, Billy's favorite job was at a 15-story building infested with more than 80,000 cockroaches. Billy previously had been featured on the Discovery Channel’s “Dirty Jobs” series. Billy is well known for his unusual fashion style, consisting mostly of black leather garments, accessorized with silver jewelry and steel studs and spikes.

Also appearing at the show will be Deena Nicole Cortese of MTV’s reality series “Jersey Shores” on Sunday, Apr. 1, noon-4 p.m., and also on Sunday, New England Patriots safety Patrick Chung, who will be at the show 1-3 p.m. In addition, the Ol Skool Rodz Pinup Girl Contest will take place on Friday, Mar. 30, at 8 p.m.

In addition to the hot rods and customs created by local car enthusiasts, which make up the bulk of the show, feature cars at this year’s show will include the “Transformers III” movie series Bumblebee, a special edition 2012 Chevrolet Camaro; ’60s bubbletop car called Mantaray; BASF 1957 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, redesigned by well known custom designer and builder Chip Foose; and four special car sections—the Shake Pit, with vintage and current Ford muscle cars; World of Wheels Ol Skool Rodz display; Direct Connection display of vintage and current Hemi-powered vehicles; and Drag City USA’s vintage race cars.

Thirty-eighth annual Town Fair Tire World of Wheels show hours are Friday, Mar. 30, 2012, 3-10 p.m., Saturday, Mar. 31, 2012, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday, Apr. 1, 2012, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Admission is $16 for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and free for children 5 and under. Discount coupons for $2 off general admission, as well as coupons good on Friday, Mar. 30, only that admit a child free when accompanied by an adult, will be available at http://www.townfairtire.com.
