Get Real! - TeenBizVenture Readies Teens for the Future

March 5, 2012 - PRLog -- TeenBizVenture is now registering teens for their Level I Training on March 12 – 23, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm downtown at Biz Hub, 2816 E. Robinson Street.

What can they expect? Teens can expect to have fun being challenged and surprised about what it takes to manage life after high school. Because entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and leadership are not required subjects taught in schools, teens have to look to other resources to get this information. Trainers are ready with interactive activities that will leave participants ready for more.

TeenBizVenture Founder, Barbara Jones, is excited about the March training. "I always ask parents this question - 'how is it that we don't teach kids how to manage finances, yet we expect them to manage their college debt?' Their response is usually 'where do we sign up!"  Jones will be conducting the trainings in collaboration with entrepreneurs and small businesses in the Orlando community.
