Arjent continue their rapid expansion plans in London and Bristol

Arjent, the private client, advisory stockbroking and discretionary investment management firm continues to expand their London and Bristol teams by welcoming five new Private Client Investment Managers.

March 2, 2012 - PRLog -- Shahed Salahuddin started his career at MF Global as an introductory broker targeting institutional investors.  He then moved to Uni Analytics AG as a Commodities trading adviser; he also held a position as Private Client Investment Advisor at Henderson Rowe, and headed up the discretionary management desk at Caledonia Associates. Shahed comes to Arjent from Independent Portfolio Managers where he continued to work with private clients and intermediaries.

Mark Russell-Stracey has over 20 years in the UK financial services industry, specialising in the day-to-day management of private client, pension, charity and trust portfolios. He has expertise in assisting Trustees with determining their investment policies with reference to Charity Commission guidelines.   Mark joins us from City Asset Management, where he was a Senior Investment Manager.  Previously Mark was Head of UK Equities at Arbuthnot Latham where he ran the UK research team and was a member of their Asset Allocation Committee.  Mark is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Stuart Humphries joins Arjent with over 10 years’ experience of dealing and advising high networth individuals on their investments. His experience includes spending two years at a boutique investment firm in New York before joining Arjent in 2002. He left Arjent in 2010 and joined Montague Capital advising private clients on global equities before deciding to return to Arjent in 2012, to grow his discretionary offering to clients.

Harriet Saunders joins us from Vantage Capital Markets where she worked on the non ferrous metals desk. Prior to that Harriet worked at commodity training house, Trafigura. Whilst at the University of Bath, she undertook placements at Lehman Brothers, UBS and ICAP.

Alex Leaman brings five years of industry experience, working at HB Markets. Over this time he has gained extensive knowledge of trading in UK equities across the FTSE 350, and trading in AIM markets. Before working as a Private Client Investment Manager Alex was a goalkeeper at Bristol City football club.
