BP's Bob Dudley has stripped the minorities of the Gulf Coast Region
Our message has been consistent with all leaders, “BP needs to pay the claims of the underserved, underrepresented and poor of the Gulf Coast Region..."
Our leaderships has met with many key Democrat and Republican Members of Congress concerning the Gulf Oil Spill including the Congressional Black Caucus. We have received significant support and our National Leadership is working tirelessly with these officials and groups to get the Underserved, Underrepresented and poor people paid in the Gulf Coast Region.
Our message has been consistent with all leaders, “BP needs to pay the claims of the underserved, underrepresented and poor of the Gulf Coast Region. BP’s Bob Dudley has never spoken of BP’s PE ratio or percentage of earning sand the losses of the Poor in the Gulf Region who have lost their entire cash economy for a life time. BP never talks about settlement of claims with people who make less than $14,000.00 a yr., who are mostly single moms and grandmothers with an average of 3 children per family.”
Rocker continues, “BP’s Bob Dudley has failed to mention the nickels, dimes and quarter’s ministers and churches were once able to collect for their small minority congregations in the Gulf Coast. Churches have filed claims but have not been paid. BP refuses to advertise about the poor people they have affected in a $146 billion dollar seafood industry in the Gulf Coast Region. Bob Dudley does not speak about the high earnings and PE ratio profits which BP makes from the target areas in the poor communities who pump gas in his BP services stations, located in the same communities who have not had their claims paid. BP’s Bob Dudley has never spoken of the long term health effects of the children, the elderly and all people of the Gulf Coast.”
“We have developed a Petition that represents over 1.4 million minorities in the Gulf Coast Region. This group includes over 400 churches, 400 pastors, and over 1100 minority hoteliers. Additionally, this petition represents many shrimpers, oystermen, maids, dishwashers, boat washers, part-time ministers, and over 550,000 part time jobs that have been lost from people making cash in the Gulf Coast Region. We have developed this petition to deliver to two presidents, the first one is Bob Dudley of BP and the next is President Barack Obama, stating one message ... “Poor People need deposits of Cash, not Ken Feinberg’s deposit of Hope. We must ensure that our communities are made whole...”
